These images are created by projecting a beam of light across the studio work bench. The shadows are captured on a screen mounted on the end of the bench using a digital camera. The resulting image is monumental in scale and transforms the minutiae of the everyday working process into a majestic scene. The images are informed by the magical way that light allows us to see the world around us but also records very unequivocally what is actually there… a very honest image… yet strangely ambiguous.
