The original of this seascape painting was created in watercolour with some pastel and was the same size as the large print we offer (about twenty seven inches tall by nine and three quarter inches wide). This was painted on early mornings in June 2006. To find the spot, take the path that goes through the campsite on the Garrison and comes out past the Battery. Then take the left hand fork which finishes at Morning Point. You are now looking towards Peninnis Head. In the sharp morning light, the pink foxgloves against the sky are almost in silhouette.
