Farr Vistas, Porthmellon, St Marys, Isles ofScilly
My friends, Richard and Anne Farr very kindly allowed me to paint this view of their garden overlooking Porthmellon, St Marys in August 2008. Porthmellon is a popular sandy beach which houses the gig sheds and sailing club. When I saw the dinghy with a rainbow sail, I thought it made a good focal point for the painting. In the middle distance you can see Newfort Island off Porthloo beach and Tresco on the horizon.
