Kitty Down has a little used path which links the road past Normandy to the pumping station at Porth Hellick. I painted on this steep path in February 2008. In the foreground, in front of the gorse, is a plant called Helichrysum, more usually found in summer hanging basket,s but doing very well here. I'm facing south, looking towards Porth Hellick. You can just see the Loaded Camel Rock on the left of the bay.
