A watercolour painted in summer 2021 on the Strand in Hugh Town on the main island of St Mary's. It was actually quite a busy scene, with people enjoying the weather, eating ice-cream, chatting etc. But I've omitted most of the people from this painting, leaving just one looking out to sea. We can be on our own, even in a crowd. Time can sometimes seem to stand still. This world is complex, with many different viewpoints and versions of individual reality.
Is our view of time necessarily the whole picture?
