From an original ink painting 34¼ inches wide x 17¼ inches tall. The full size print (image) is 31 ¾ wide by 16 inches tall (approx) and the half size print (image) 16 wide by 8 inches tall (approx).

This was painted in the spring of 2015, using just droppers and a water spray. Carreg Dhu is a community garden in the heart of St Mary’s, cared for by volunteers and funded by charity. I recommend anyone visiting the islands to pop in, it’s one of the island’s hidden delights. This spring it was a riot of colour and I painted this chaos of colour near the entrance. I was particularly attracted to the purple of the rhododendrons.
