"Agapanthus, Thomas Porth", St Marys, Isles of Scilly
The original of this painting was created in watercolour with some pastel and was the same size as the large print we offer (approximately twenty seven inches tall by nine and three quarter inches wide). This was painted in late summer 2005 below Harry's Walls, by Grenofen, on the beach path. It was one of two paintings from this spot (the other was a wide landscape). There were passing showers which increased the intensity of colour and provided an interesting sky.
