This was painted on windy mornings in the early summer of 2010. When I started this painting on the first morning, I was in the lee of the gale force winds. Unfortunately, on subsequent days, the wind changed and I had difficulty holding on to the paper. I even had to anchor down the easel! I was on the far side of the Garrison looking out to the picturesque remote islands of St Agnes and Gugh, across the deep water passage.
