One of my very large paintings which was painted on sunny afternoons in August 2010. My neighbour, Donald May, is an excellent gardener and retired flower farmer. He has cultivated the rough ground near his house by planting agapanthus, echiums and tamarisk. There was a visiting sail training vessel in the Roadstead and you can see across the bay to the islands of Samson, Bryher and Tresco. Dimensions: thirty six and a half inches wide by nineteen and a half inches high.
