Painted on bright, windy afternoons on Porth Hellick down in the August 0f 2010. I sheltered in a hollow amongst the heather, gorse and other wild flowers that carpet the downs. The red berries are from honeysuckle growing by one of the burial chanbers, of which there are several, camouflaged within the natural rock formations. In the distance is Giants Castle, an enhanced natural feature used as a defensive position in the Iron Age.
