Scilly Seasons - Autumn
Diccon and Ned's Shed, Porth Hellick, St Marys
This old boat shed belongs to brothers Ned and Diccon Rogers. It sits on the bank just past the Loaded Camel Rock on Porth Hellick, St Marys. The subject just appealed to me and I painted it on blustery afternoons in the autumn of 2007. I particularly liked the colours in the stone and incorporated some of the material of the shore in the painting.
