From an original ink painting 34¼ inches tall x 17¼ inches wide. The full size print (image) is 31 ¾ tall by 16 inches wide (approx) and the half size print (image) 16 tall by 8 inches wide (approx).
This was painted in Summer 2016, using inks and painted freehand with only droppers and a water spray. This was quite a difficult painting, judging the perspective first time and getting the lines of the building as accurate as possible. Buzza Tower was originally a windmill and has had a few uses in the past. It now contains a camera obscura which is a wonderful piece of old technology. Unusually, the blue agapanthus in the foreground seem to flower out of Season, as well as this time of year. I also painted inside the tower, looking up, (please ask if you’d like to see that unusual painting).
