The original of this seascape painting was created in watercolour with some pastel and was the same size as the large print we offer (about twenty seven and a half inches tall by nine and three quarter inches wide). I have painted here at the far end of Porthcressa bay many times. There is a patch of grass and a few seats where you can admire the view out towards Peninnis, the Garrison or, as on this occasion, the tip of Gugh and St Agnes. This was painted in July 2013 when the pink and purple gazanias are in flower.
