Scilly Seasons - Summer
"Westerly Planting" Tresco Abbey Gardens, Tresco, Isles of Scilly
I painted this in the early summer of 2008. Tresco Abbey Gardens offer so much variety and colour! I was in the upper west part of the gardens, looking south west towards Samson. The light was at its best here in the afternoon. I wanted to stay later, when I think the light could have been better. Unfortunately, the Gardens close at 4pm and I also had to catch the boat back to St Marys!
