I try, where possible, to convey a sense of reality in my photography. I feel it is important to record our actual, everyday environment. In doing so I aim to highlight the human impact upon our surroundings while also celebrating the inherent beauty in our immediate locality.

My photography is highly personal, often reflecting my interests (style, technical and/or current events) at the time. My work varies from digital to large format film and I take inspiration from a wide range of artists and photographers.
